A few days ago I got a prototype RAZR MAXX and I wanted to share you my experiencie with it.

For first eval it looks like the normal RAZR MAXX, but with no funlights and the outer touch keys are not working. That's talking about the physical look.

Now talking about the software version it comes with a very weird firmware: R26111MVL_U_96.48.331P which it has a weird flex version: UIVOLANSFACTR26111_015 and the bootloader is very very very weird, never heard of 03.08.

I can't connect the phone with the pc cause it gave me a lot of issues with the drivers, also tried different drivers version with no luck, so that's why I am going to write what I see.

The DRM version is the 1005, which it looks like the stock 1001, so that's not a big deal with that. The phone came with the stock Moto skin, yeah the old one from V3X and the main menu is a list menu. I can't access to Messages, it brings me a "Please wait.." text. It has no worldclock, No javas installed.The cameras are working properly. The firmware is a bit slow. Now what everyone wants to know: The bands enabled on this firmware:

- 1900
- 900/1800
- European
- WCDMA 2100
- WCDMA 850/1900

I tried with all the bands and it's the same deal like with a normal MAXX.

Summary the prototype RAZR MAXX needs all that we know. And it's NOT quad-band as so many people was asking :)
